A school-based program is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Long Island, New York, kayak or canoe along the river, go on the Long Island winery tour, or visit the Planting Fields Arboretum!
The clinician will work 4 hours per day at schools and 4 hours per day doing paperwork. These are consultation programs/not treatment. The clinician will meet with the students and make referrals to partial hospitalization and outpatient programs. There is also an evaluation portion of the position separate from the consults where the clinician will have 2 hours for the evaluation + 1 hour for documentation.
