Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner with strong communication skills to join the Guthrie Lourdes Hospital-Radiation Oncology team.

As a Guthrie Nurse Practitioner, you play an important role in caring for our patients while acting as a patient advocate and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers, as well as Guthrie Specialists throughout the strong referral Network.

Highlights of the Position

  • Responsibilities
    • Conducting initial and follow-up patient assessments.
    • Acts as a patient advocate, and closely monitors patients throughout their treatment.
    • Implements treatment plans at the direction of radiation oncologist.
    • Acts as a patient advocate, and closely monitors patients throughout their treatment.
    • Prescribes medications.
    • Compassionately communicates patients proposed treatments, and shares education.
    • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits
    • Competitive Salary range of $115,000-$126,000 depending on experience.

  • Qualifications
    • Current license in New York State.
    • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
